for my example, i watched mark rober's "world's smallest nerf gun" video, where he designed and 3d-printed a nerf gun in one piece. i thought this was cool, because it's not easy to launch a projectile when the whole blaster is made out of stiff plastic. his design works by removing some material, allowing the plastic to be bent, so it can store and release energy.

my fingers aren't tiny enough to pull the trigger on his original design, nor do i have a nice enough 3d printer. so i scaled up his design to make the world's most medium-sized nerf gun instead.
lucky me, this step was pretty simple. i just clicked print and the entire blaster was finished. it came with darts too. i immediately began shooting (non-living) things (in a safe and controlled manner).
